Five by Hashgrid — Delete your account

Five by Hashgrid is published by Hashgrid. If you'd like to delete your Five account and the data associated with it, you can do so directly from the app — no email or support ticket needed.

Delete from inside the app

1. Open Five by Hashgrid.
2. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom right.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Confirm. The request is processed immediately and you'll be signed out.

If you can no longer sign in to the app and want your account deleted, email office@hashgrid.ai from the address you used to sign in and we'll process the deletion within 30 days.

What's deleted

When you delete your account, the following are permanently removed from our systems:

• your account record (email, OAuth identifier, encryption key binding);
• your profile (display name, avatar, date of birth, sex, location);
• every listing / node you created;
• every match edge tied to your node;
• every chat you participated in (direct chats are removed for both sides; group chats keep the messages but your user is detached);
• every message you authored — peer messages and agent-thread messages alike;
• device push tokens used to notify your phone;
• any blocks or reports you submitted, except the report record itself which is anonymised but retained for safety review (see below).

What is kept, and for how long

We keep a small, narrowly scoped set of records after deletion:

• Safety / abuse reports you filed against another user — retained for up to 180 days, with your user identifier removed. We keep these so we can act on patterns of abuse; we don't use them for any other purpose.
• Sign-in audit logs (timestamp, IP, OAuth provider) — retained for up to 30 days as required for security incident response, then permanently removed.
• Aggregated, non-identifying analytics (e.g. "N accounts deleted in May") — retained indefinitely. These records do not contain any field that can be tied back to your account.

Nothing else is retained. Backups containing your data roll off our backup system within 30 days of deletion.

Delete some data without deleting your account

Five does not currently support partial data deletion — the in-app control deletes the whole account. If you'd like a specific listing, chat, or message removed without closing the account, email office@hashgrid.ai with the details and we'll act on it within 30 days.
